Golden Community Resources Society and Better at Home are pleased to announce we have hired a new B@H Coordinator, Yvonne Johansen. We welcome Yvonne to our GCRS team. Yvonne’s confirmed interpersonal and management skills will benefit us as we move forward with our enhanced Better at Home Program.
We acknowledge that a program manager’s turnover always creates some disruption to programs and services. Yvonne, Lynne, and I are working together over the next few weeks to ensure the transition is as smooth and disruptive as possible.
Until further notice, you can continue to refer clients and/or program questions to Lynne. I am grateful Lynne continues to be a casual GCRS employee and supports Yvonne and me through this exciting transition.
Lynne is now working full-time in her new position, so please respect her limited window for responding to B@H inquiries, phone calls, emails and texts. Over the next few weeks, we will arrange opportunities for you to meet Yvonne in situations relevant to your working connection with her.
We ask for your patience as we address the complex challenges of introducing a new Coordinator to the B@H position and developing programming that complements the enhanced funding we applied for and, fortunately, were granted.
As you can appreciate, the strategies, goals and implementation practices that address the needs of the seniors we serve will take time to develop and roll out. You will be advised of her contact information as soon as Yvonne assumes full responsibility for the coordinator role.
