This historical photo is of the Golden Arms Hotel.
In its heyday it had a big restaurant, a banquet room, lounge, pub and lots of well-appointed rooms.
Former Golden resident Krishan Mall of Calgary recently purchased the hotel and are tearing it down to make way for a new hotel which will form part of the hospitality industry in the town.
