Nicholson Elementary School staff, students and families would like to give a big shout out and thank you to our amazing community supporters.
Our playground now has a beautiful gazebo which will provide shade and cover while we work, learn and play outdoors.
This project could not have become a reality without the very generous support we received from Columbia Basin Trust ReDi grant, Shamrock Mountain Building, Golden and District Community Foundation, Columbia Valley Credit Union, Columbia Shuswap Regional District Grant and Aid program, Golden Concrete, and the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Summit Fund.
We would like to invite community members to check out this beautiful structure and to remind people that the gazebo is for public use whenever school is not in session.
