A locally owned drone services company, In Flight Robotics, has officially opened a new office in Golden, marking an important step in the company’s growth and its commitment to serving the Columbia Valley and surrounding regions.
Founded and operated by Golden resident Seth Conlin, In Flight Robotics provides professional drone services for technical and industrial sectors, including forestry, infrastructure, construction, public safety, and environmental monitoring. While the company has been operating throughout British Columbia and Western Alberta for some time, the new office creates a dedicated base for in-person collaboration, planning, and local operations.
“Having a physical office in Golden means we can work more closely with local clients and partners,” said Conlin. “A lot of our work is about problem-solving and planning. Being able to sit down face-to-face makes a real difference, especially for technical projects.”
The office will operate primarily by appointment, with the door often open while staff are on site.
Community members and potential clients are welcome to stop in for a conversation when the space is open.
In Flight Robotics specializes in drone mapping, inspections, thermal imaging, and data capture for challenging terrain and remote locations — work that often supports safer, more efficient decision-making in the field. The company also contributes to community and environmental projects when appropriate, using drone technology in non-invasive ways.
The opening of the office reflects a growing demand for locally based technical services in the region and reinforces Golden’s role as a hub for skilled, innovative businesses.
