The Golden Minor Hockey Association is proud to announce that our community has been selected to host the Tier 4 U18 BC Hockey Championships in March 2026. This prestigious event will bring together the top U18 Tier 4 teams from across British Columbia for a week of exciting competition right here in Golden.
Hosting the provincial championships is not only a great honour but also a tremendous opportunity for our community. Hundreds of players, families, and fans will be visiting, providing a welcome boost to local businesses, restaurants, and hotels.
Planning is already underway, and the organizing committee is eager to showcase the hospitality, spirit, and love of hockey that Golden is known for. Community support will be essential, from sponsorships and volunteers to cheering in the stands.
“We’re excited to welcome the province to Golden,” said organizers. “This event is bigger than hockey—it’s a chance for our whole community to shine.”
More details will be shared in the coming months, but one thing is certain: March 2026 will be a special time for hockey in Golden.
