Lady Grey Elementary School, in addition to École La Confluence and Nicholson Elementary’s grade 4-7 participated in a school wide track meet and fun games on Monday, June 24th!
Events included in the track meet included the 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 1500 m, 4×100 m relay, long jump, high jump and shot put.
The schools also put on fun games such as tug of war and parachute.
A big thank you to all of our parent and community volunteers, the school staff (especially Margo Reinders, Runa Bjarnason-Wilson, and Anita Sinclair), and our PACs (especially to Josee Roy and Yuki Endo).
Lastly, to Nancy Jensen who spearheaded the event. And thank you to GSS for all their support and facilities for the events.
In addition, we’d like to thank our generous sponsors, including DJ’s Paper Place, GADSAR, Golden Installations, Columbia Valley Credit Union, Save on Foods, and IGA for their generous donations.
