Tell us a little about yourself and your connection to Golden: I am a retired person having lived about 9 years in the Golden area. I am a member of the Seniors Society and Local Advisory Committee of Area A with the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, where I also serve as the Alternate Director to Karen Cathcart. In my history, one will find information technology work, project management work, construction work, teaching work, driving work and a strong desire to contribute to my community, shown in the volunteer work I have done (ski patrol, condominium boards).
Why have you decided to run for Golden Town Council? I have decided to run for council to continue my passion to contribute to the community I enjoy. I have the time to do the reading and meet with people as I am retired. I want to serve, bringing my varied life experiences to the table with open-minded respect, energy and enthusiasm.
