The Golden Christmas Craft Fair is back after taking a year off due to COVID-19, and is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 26, from 12 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fair is set to take place at the Mt. 7 Rec Plex.

Admission is by donation to Kicking Horse Culture and will be put towards hosting other events, such as the craft fair.

There will be a variety of homemade goods at the fair, ranging from jewelry to clothing, art prints, food and much more.

Currently, the Christmas Craft Faire is classified by the Provincial Health Office as a โ€˜flow-throughโ€™ market event. Vaccine Passports are not required to enter, but masks are required at all times.

Take a look back at these archival pages from the Golden Star and Golden News about the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge.

Built in 2001 by volunteer timber framers and locals, this iconic bridge is Canadaโ€™s longest freestanding timber-frame structure and a true symbol of community connection.

Now, 25 years later, itโ€™s time to celebrate!

Join us at Spirit Square tomorrow evening (Saturday, Sept 26) to celebrate the 25th anniversary. See you there, Golden!
