After full road closure due to a police incident, Highway 3A north of Creston has re-opened for single lane alternating traffic.

“There is an ongoing police investigation, and no risk to the public,” said Const. Brett Urano, Creston RCMP, in response to media inquiries.

DriveBC reported the closure starting at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Dec. 14. The highway was closed in both directions for a four-kilometre stretch between Lower Wynndel Road and View Road until late evening.
