Mrs. Bertha Mabel Boise passed away at the Golden & District General Hospital on Sunday, October 28th, 2007, at the age of 92 years. There will be no formal funeral service at Mabel’s own request. Cremation.
Mabel was born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan, on April 26, 1915. She worked as a nurse’s aide in B.C. Children’s Hospital for many years. Mabel was a quiet, private woman who enjoyed sewing.
Mabel is survived by three children: Leon (Anne) Boise of Pitt Meadows, Carolyn (John) Erickson of White Rock and Ralph Boise of Vancouver; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were in the care of Hindman Bowers Funeral Home, Golden.
