December 22, 1948 – October 9, 2025
Doreen passed away peacefully at Durand Manor in October, in the arms of her husband.
She was born in Calgary and lived in many places across Canada.
She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Herbig, her mother, Nora Herbig, and her brothers Fred and Robert.
Her husband wishes to thank the nurses, care aids and staff at Durand Manor for the compassion they showed Doreen.
God looked around His garden and found an empty space;
He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful; He only takes the best.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you never went alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
