GUINDON, George, passed away suddenly at his home in Sicamous, BC, on Friday, September 7, 2007, at the age of 66 years.
George was born in Girouxville, Alberta, on March 27, 1941. He had resided in Sicamous since 2000, having moved from Golden.
He is survived by three sons, Don of Malakwa, Gilbert (Shirley Walker) of Cranbrook and David of Victoria; three step-grandchildren, Shane, Daryl and Tara and one step great-grandson, Triston. Also surviving are two brothers, Alfred and Ernest Guindon; four sisters, Yolande Beaudin, Jeanne Cross, Georgette Poirier and Theresa Bourassa. He was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Brock.
A memorial service was held from the Mountainside Room of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, BC, on Thursday, September 13th, at 2:00 pm, with Capreece Bowers celebrant.
Arrangements were in the care of Bowers Funeral Home and Crematorium, Salmon Arm.
