We sadly announce the passing of Maria Mugford on February 18, 2026 at Golden Hospital at the age of 87.
Maria was born July 21, 1938 in Carrot River, Saskatchewan and lived the last 38 years in Golden.
She is survived by her four children, Garey (Deb), Sharon (Randy), Rick (Teri), Lori, and her sister Eva (Stan). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nettie and George Ens, her brother Karl, and the love of her life, Donald Mugford.
Maria is at peace now and reunited with Donald to continue their journey. There will be no service at Maria’s request. Her ashes will be spread with Donald’s at a later date.
