Shain Christine WILSON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shain Christine Wilson.

Shain passed away suddenly at her home in Victoria B.C. on January 31st, 2026. Shain was born on August 12, 1970 in Thompson M.B. She lived in many places but mostly Golden and Vancouver.

She is survived by her mother Linda; her brothers, Scott, Brian, Robin; her sister, Danielle (Philip); her children, Kyle, Cassie, Tristan (Hanako), Samuel, Brenda (Jardy), Markus; her grandchildren, Gwynn, Harlow, Kaya; her nephews and nieces; and countless friends she made along the way.

Shain’s greatest goal in life was to have her grown children back in her life. She spent a few years in Golden living with some and getting to know them all again.

She had a dream to be a nurse, she worked hard to get her GED and completed schooling to become an LPN. She spent 2 years working as a travel nurse across Vancouver Island, she really enjoyed helping people.

Shain loved music and went to many concerts. She made a friend everywhere she went and touched many peoples’ lives.

Her whole life she believed that loved ones become angels, and she loved butterflies. So when you see a butterfly that flutters near, think of it as Shain watching over every life she touched along the way.

There will be a celebration of life held in Golden B.C at the Legion from 12 – 3 on September 26th. Please come and honor Shain with her family, a shareable food item is welcome.
