Bend Sinister will perform at the Golden Skybridge Park on July 15 as part of their tour, “The Highway Is Our Home” and the Golden Skybridge Summer Concert Series.

Vancouver-based rock band Bend Sinister is coming to Golden and performing at the Golden Skybridge Park on July 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The show will be the third Golden Skybridge Concert Series hosted by Menzies Music.

Bend Sinister has two Top 30 Rock Radio hits for their songs, “Don’t You Know” and “Walk The Other Way.”

With over 5 million cumulative streams, fans and members of the music industry compare the band to the Arkells, the Sheepdogs, and Yukon Blonde.

The band’s show in Golden is the second-last stop on their 2023 Western Canada tour, “The Highway Is Our Home.” The tour will feature shows every day for 11 consecutive days from July 6 to 16.

The tour will include stops in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Calgary before coming to Golden and will ultimately wrap up on the 16th in Kamloops.

Like the rest of the Golden Skybridge Concert Series shows, the performance is open to anyone who has paid for admission to the Golden Skybridge Park that day or to those with a Locals Insider Pass.

The Insider Pass, which costs $39, provides season-long access to the park for residents of the Golden area. Passes can be purchased at the Golden Skybridge ticket booth with an identification card, which provides proof of residence in Golden.

Regular paid admission to the park costs $40 for adults and $30 for children. However, the park also offers a reduced rate in the evening called the “Golden Hour” pass, which costs $32.20 for adults and $21 for children.

For those who can’t make it to the show —or can’t get enough of the band— Bend Sinister will be releasing new music soon through Cardova Bay Records.
