Police are investigating after a two-vehicle collision in Rogers Pass on Monday.
On June 8, 2026, the Golden-Field RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 in Rogers Pass near Golden, BC.

The driver of the Ford F-150 sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for advanced medical treatment.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was arrested on scene and transported to the Golden-Field RCMP Detachment for further investigation. The driver was later released with documents and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
“We would like to thank the public for their assistance during this incident, as well as their patience as traffic was impacted during the investigation,” said Constable Jas Dhugga, Media Relations Officer.
